Wolves
The Wolves have a strong Norse tradition, rooted in the ideals of loyalty and courage, and hold their Ancestors in highest regard. The leadership of the faction is not hereditary and there is a strong emphasis on obtaining positions through individual merit, rather than group or family ties. The Wolves are known as a predominantly martial faction; they fight with a passion, drink with a passion and are fiercely loyal to their fellows.
Norsca lies to the north of Teutonia; it is a land of contrasts stretching from the rolling plains and fields of Jotunheim in the south to the harsh, frigid beauty of Vetrheim in the north. It is bordered by Siberija to the east and encompasses the majority of the Isle of Asgard to the west. Although Norsca is predominantly inhabited by humans, many other races and peoples call it home. The faction has a long-standing hatred of unliving and they are not permitted in Norsca without the express permission of Faction Command.
Lord Wolf - Morven Alfstan
Morven Alfstan was born the daughter of a hunter and a priestess. Raised in the shadow of the Vanamoiinen forest, she was at home in the wild from a young age. Morven found her faith early on and soon became a staunch defender of the land. She spent several years leading the faction’s scouts and rangers before becoming the Lady Seneschal and then Queen upon her marriage to King Absolom. Following his murder in 1108, she became Lord Wolf at the request of the people. Since the loss of her husband, Morven has devoted herself to the security of Norsca and its inhabitants.
Abriel, Lord Protector of Norsca, Godi Ap Odin.
Abriel is the Lord Protector of the Wolves. He knew his parents, growing up in Orkneyjar, near Damsay, where his adoptive father taught him the art of magecraft. Upon the man’s death, Abriel joined the Ragh Hrafn Fianna and spent many years with them until Odin chose him to be one of his Godis. When the Fianna chose to leave Norsca, Abriel took the heart-rending decision to remain with the Wolves, for he saw himself as Norscan. Now he serves his people for Norsca, for Odin and for Erdreja.
