The Lorien Trust are proud to have been in the news recently as the Department for Transport (DoT) released figures that showed its staff visited the Bears faction forum regularly in the last year.
As one of ten factions in the game world of Erdreja, the Bears faction celebrates the peoples of Caledonia. The Bears forum provides an opportunity for players to chat, catch up and get advice and information from one another.
The forum, like a number of other faction’s forums, is a website which has been set up and is maintained by volunteers to facilitate players’ involvement in the Lorien Trust.
Since the news broke about the browsing habits of DoT staff the Bears faction website has had an unprecedented number of hits.

We regret to inform you that the online booking system will not be ready this year as we had intended. If you wish to prebook for either the Summer Moot or the Gathering you will need to download a booking form and post it in. If you are unable to print off a form then please contact the office via phone or email to bookings@lorientrust.com and ask for a booking form to be sent out to you. Please bear in mind, however, that we are currently in the field preparing the site for the GEF. This may unfortunately have an impact on our response times.

It has come to our attention that some players avoided paying the £10 early entry fee for arriving and pitching on a Thursday at the Spring Moot. As a result, our Event Support team will be conducting additional sweeps of the field and bar area checking wristbands. If you are found not to be wearing a wristband, you will incur an additional £10 penalty charge.

If you have a prebook ticket and you arrive while the gate tent is closed, you must report to our 24 hour Event Support Team to acquire a wristband before setting up any camping equipment. You may incur additional fees if you are found to be on site without a wristband.
