The shattered remains of the Empire cover the desert lands, kingdoms fighting among themselves, yet from this a new era is forming. Since the first tentative contact by the peoples of Aegyptus, the desert lands now once more begin to unite.

Empress Neferemtut, sister to the pharaoh of Aegyptus Chosen by the Princes of Arabia and the people of Maurabia to be there one voice in the Northern realms of the Heartlands. Works unceasingly to unite the shattered war torn lands of the desert. The Kingdoms no longer lie as errant cubs lost in the untamed wilds, now they stand together as pack. Once more the desert lands are attempting to form a great empire of man.

From the ancient rites and rituals of the Aegyptian temples with their mummification and strange hieroglyphic scripts, to the scrolls of philosophy and astrology of Arabia, and to the harsh war like ways of the Maurabians, scratching a meagre living from the oasis of the desert. Yet in the Empire all these things mingle in the sight and glory of the Ancestors to make the Jackals great once more.

The most recent signatory of the Gathering charter they have only recently opened their borders to the peoples of the north. Already the first trade routes have been established to the north. The Jackals are here, the dogs of war will stay!
