In Response to your Feedback.....

So, we have received some great feedback already and are implementing the following over the next couple of days:

You have asked for an RSS feed for main and sanctioned events, so that you know the dates when we know the confirmed dates.

This is something we will look at setting up and will get back to you on.

You have asked us for a monthly calendar showing event dates...

we had one, but were hiding it till it was nicely populated with events, so will put this back up for you shortly.

Our Content Team are currently working hard on porting over the information from the old website and updating it to match the new website, and post cataclysm Erdreja.

Female Larpers have pointed out that they are severely under represented in our home page photos.

Well spotted ladies, we shall try and rectify this shortly.

As mentioned in my previous, we are curently working on the gallery to create an easy to use interface which will provide you with memories of your favourite events.

In the publications page, you have asked for hyperlinks to be added to the titles of the documents on the main page, this is a great idea and I wish I had thought of it.

If you have any more ideas or feedback, we'd love to hear from you, so please feel free to add your comments to this blog so the team can access them.

When will we be able to register to use this site and when will we be able to manage our account on line?

Will there be a facility to book on-line and pay on-line as well?

In answer to your questions:

Yes and yes. However, these won't be ready until mid season as it requires the new database we are creating too.
But you will soon be able to login to the new forums and chat with other LRP-ers.

Could you change the "Buy Tickets" links for sanctioned events to point to their booking forms / on-line booking pages instead of to buy main event tickets please?

http://lorientrust.com goes to a under construction page rather than the site.

on the sanction event list..
It lists the name of the event and date and where its at, but doesnt seem to mention which faction it is, this may be helpfull if people dont know the name of the event

I'd love to see a live webcam feed from Locko Park.

We can see our event being set up, building the anticipation. And then see the main events online, for the events we can't get to - and so I can show my non LARP (yet) friends my wonderful hobby!!

A live webcam feed from Locko on this website would be fantastic.

In this winter's copy of Rune it was mentioned that if a player introduced a new larper to the game he/she (the person who introduced the new player) would recieve 10 OSP's to their account. What was not made clear was how the LT would be aware who introduced them.

Would I get the OSP's if I pre-booked the new player? Does the new player have to tell the LT who introduced them or if the new player books do they add a note advising who introduced them.

Can someone please advise me on this.

I pre book events so i can spend the osps, I have 2 new friends coming they will book same time as me. Can I spend those osps earned at the same time I spend my prebooked ones?

Loving the new site, but the OSP booklet is very vague. If/when there are clarifications on some of these rules could the webpage be updated, even if the pdf isn't?

Glossary

I would like to see a (preferably Hyperlinked) Glossary on the site. I was recently reading latest additions to the Website and there was a headline on Sigils, scrolls, Potions etc. Ok, in general terms I know what they are, but that's because I know about the system. Actually, I'll come clean, I don't have a clue what a sigil is/does/looks like/smells like or if I could trip over one in the dark.

Why not alphabetically index and Hyperlink the LARP / LT 'Jargon' to a glossary and also make 'Glossary' one of the pages on this site.

The alternative is wading through Players Guide, OSP Guide and all the other downloadable documentation; and in all probability still not be able to find what we're looking for. An indexed, Hyperlinked, glossary would make it so much easier.
